I was travelling through Tasmania and met Marti at the Salamanca Markets and was so impressed by him and what he had done. I purchased his amazing book as a gift for a friend who designed and made surfboards in Western Australia and he loves the book.
Absolutely love this book. The stories are amazing and so is the incredible photography and I do mean incredible. It really does give you an appreciation of the courage of the people who surf these monsters. I have met a few of the surfers in this book and they are the nicest guys you'd ever meet. Their love of the ocean and protecting its fragile environment makes you respect them even more. This book is an absolute must have.
